I enjoy the simplicity of technology. It is complex in it’s production, but can be simple when produced correctly for a reader/viewer. The fact of the matter is, there are two many time-consuming ways to consume news these days. Most people, especially in the education and career field, move fast. There is not much time to sit around and watch the news or read long articles.
I was introduced to RSS this past week. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and that is exactly what it is. Basically, subscriptions to news feeds based on the topic of your choice can be brought to you daily by the click of a button. I use Google to access my subscriptions. I subscribe to music pages and certain podcast news channels I listen to. I get to choose what news I receive, instead of getting random updates.
RSS is fast and convenient, just what I need for my busy life with school and work. Great discovery.
